Julia Ostroverkhova studied at the National Donetsk University and the Institute of Cultural Management And Cultural Studies of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Utilizing her expertise in Russian language and music management, she worked with both the Philharmonie Lugansk and the Wiener MusikSeminar where she was put in charge of such important projects as the Philharmonie Lugansk tour in Austria, the Salt Symphony Festival in Soledar (Ukraine), the anniversary concert of the Wiener MusikSeminar in the Wiener Konzerthaus and the conducting courses of the Wiener MusikSeminar.

As a freelance cultural events organizer, Julia also carried out several own projects such as celebration in conjunction with the flight opening of the Austrian Airlines in Donetsk, the concert tour of the Japanese Women’s Choir in Vienna;  the Viennese Ball in Lugansk, the Festival „Days of Ukranian Culture in Vienna“ and others.
